BroadBand '08 is a National Conference focusing on Broadband Technologies. The conference aims at bringing researchers, professionals and academics together to share their views, researches and experience through paper presentations, tutorials and industrial exhibitions. 
On 27th: There will be tutorials taken by Behram R. Sethna Vice President ,TCS. U.B.Desai ,IIT MUMBAI , Saji Kumar DGM , BSNL ,Kerala and other special guests about the latest developments in BroadBand Technologies like IP TV 2.2,.. This will be good for us as we are communication students and we should be knowing about the latest development in BroadBand... The registration cost for these tutorials will be Rs. 300 for non-ieee members (i told u to join ieee!!  ) and Rs. 200 for IEEE members..
On 28th: The BroadBand Conference, this will also be a national level conference and student mainly M.Tech, PhD students taking seminars on various technologies in broadband.. These will be a bit high tech for us n i think we should go for the student activities... Now coming to the student activities... The student activities will be held in parallel with the conference.. The student activities are:
IQ Race: A technical quiz in form of a treasure hunt.. I think its gonna be fun... Like the Young Scientist Program the first years had...
RoboSoccer: No info about this has been given... I think u have to make a robot n play soccer with it..
Paper Presentation: U guys can present seminars on the various topics, for more info, Click Here..
The student activities registration will be Rs. 100 for non-ieee non-MBCET, Rs. 50 for non-ieee MBCET, IEEE non-MBCET, FREEEEEE for IEEE MBCET students (  ).. Yeah, u can bring ur friends from other colleges for the student activities.. As we wont have crossroads this sem, lets make BroadBand '08 a blast..

Lab exams are over for now... Dunno when the next session is coming... Hope only in March.. Title for newsletter temporarily fixed as collage...
